Here is how Coda feels after I take him for a walk in the neighborhood.

We went to the Carroll County Arts Council this morning because Natalie had a drawing that was selected for display in honoring young artists. Carina also had some artwork that was displayed in a book put together by her art teacher.

Hectic Week

This week was definately a challenge. Nathan was the first to get sick by Thursday, Carina joined him and on Friday Natalie joined in the fun too! All three have been running fevers and feeling rather yucky. To add to the chaos, Coda was neutered on Wednesday and he also had a belly button hernia repaired. Coda and Nathan are rebounding but the girls have only just begun. Although it is a beautiful sunny day today, our day will be spent inside and I have a lot of disinfecting to do!

What ya going to do...

Everyone always asks what am I going to do while Leo is away. Does everyone forget I have three very demanding children? Well, I have decided to take on a few projects while he is gone. The first one is our bedroom. It is anything but a master suite! My first task was to paint a plain wood tv stand black. I really like the outcome and proud of myself. Why did I wait 12 years to paint it?

Since the kids had a half day of school, my neighbor and I decided to take our kids snowtubing at Ski Liberty. It was 50 degrees, perfect for snowtubing and my kind of winter day! We had a lot of fun.

Marley & Me Movie Review

Okay, so the kids insisted on seeing the movie Marley and Me even though I told them the movie has a sad ending. All I can say is I was prepared for the emotional ending; however, I had no idea of the "innocent (for a lack of a better word) adult content" that was in the movie. In my opinion, this movie should be rated PG-13 rather than PG. To all of those who are thinking of seeing this movie with young children, choose another movie!
